Lindsay Dyer
Lindsay is a passionate advocate for empowering parents through all stages of the birthing and postpartum journey. With personal experience in a variety of birthing styles, including a C-section, VBAC, and an attempted home birth turned hospital transfer, Lindsay brings a wealth of firsthand knowledge to her work. She is the proud mother of three daughters, one of whom was conceived with the help of a donor embryo.
As a single mother by choice for her youngest, Lindsay recognized the vital need for support during the postpartum period. Her introduction to postpartum doula services was life-changing, inspiring her mission to raise awareness and ensure more families have access to this invaluable resource.
Based in Northern California, Lindsay enjoys spending her free time riding horses, camping, and exploring new restaurants with her children. Her experiences and dedication make her a compassionate and relatable advocate for parents navigating their own unique journeys.
Chloe Girot
The birth world piqued Chloe's interest at a young age. Ever since high school biology class, she knew she was meant to have a career related to helping people birth babies. Unsure of how to channel her newfound inspiration, she discovered Welcome Home Doula Services Training Program in 2016 and instantly fell in love with the role of a doula.
Soon after completion, she was invited to become a mentor doula for WHDS which was both an honor and fulfilling experience. Mostly caring for people prenatally and through the birthing process, the shift to postpartum support was based on community needs and a lack of support structures during their postpartum period. Everyone should be cared for in this huge life transition.
As of September 2019, she is enrolled in the National College of Midwifery as a student midwife and could not be on a clearer path! Chloe still has as much passion and enthusiasm for supporting birthing and postpartum families as she did at the beginning. Birth and postpartum are such a personal time of growth, that when you partner with the right team (whoever that may include!) the impact can resonate for the rest of your days.
Jeanette Carrillo
As a mother of two children—both delivered without any medication—I’ve always had a deep love for babies and a strong appreciation for the strength of parents. When I first learned about the incredible support doulas provide, I couldn’t believe I hadn’t known this service existed. Meeting Chloe opened my eyes to the difference compassionate, knowledgeable care can make for families during birth and the postpartum period.
Now, as the manager of Together We Thrive, my mission is to make sure no parent feels alone during such a transformative time. I’m committed to connecting families with experienced and caring professionals who provide support through every step—whether it’s birth doula services, postpartum care, or beyond.
Every parent deserves to feel heard, cared for, and empowered. I’m honored to play a role in spreading awareness and ensuring these services are accessible to all who need them.
